Gambling should be entertainment — not a source of financial stress or personal harm. 3rrr is committed to providing Pakistani users with the tools, knowledge and resources to keep their gambling safe, informed and within their means.
Responsible gambling isn't a box we tick at the end of a page — it's embedded into how 3rrr operates as a platform. Here's what that looks like in practice.
The 3rrr platform is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and above — or the higher minimum age required by the relevant Operator or licence jurisdiction. Under-age access is prohibited and actively prevented. If you believe a minor has accessed this platform, contact us immediately.
Gambling is a leisure activity, not a financial plan. 3rrr does not present gambling as a reliable income source or a strategy for recovering financial losses. Every piece of content on this platform carries that message clearly, whether covering cricket markets, PSL odds or casino games.
Deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are all tools users should actively explore and use when needed. These are available through licensed Operators, not through 3rrr directly — but we explain each one clearly so you know what to ask for.
Online gambling is subject to legal restrictions in Pakistan under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. 3rrr does not misrepresent the legal position. Users must independently verify the legality of gambling activity in their jurisdiction. This content is not legal advice.
We explain how odds work — including the house edge, return-to-player percentages and the mathematical advantage held by any Operator — so users understand the realistic probability of winning before placing a bet. Informed users are safer users.
3rrr support is accessible via plain-text email, available in English with Urdu assistance on request. Responsible gambling enquiries are prioritised. If you're struggling, reaching out is always the right move — and it's always available.
Licensed betting and casino Operators are required — under their licence conditions — to provide players with a range of responsible gambling tools. Understanding these tools before you need them puts you in a much stronger position if gambling starts feeling less like entertainment and more like a compulsion.
The examples below use PKR figures to give Pakistani users a realistic sense of scale. These are illustrative only — actual limits depend on the Operator and your account history.
Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your account per day, week or month. Once the limit is reached, the Operator prevents further deposits until the period resets or you reduce the limit.
Restrict the maximum amount you can lose over a set period. When your losses reach the threshold, your account is restricted from further play until the period expires.
Set a maximum duration for any single play session. When time runs out, you receive a notification and may be automatically logged out, preventing long uninterrupted play sessions.
Take a temporary break from gambling by requesting a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 1 week or 1 month. During this period you cannot access your account or place bets.
Request a longer voluntary ban from gambling activity — typically 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanent. Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available and should be used when gambling feels out of control.
Periodic on-screen reminders that display your current session duration and net win/loss position, helping you make conscious decisions about whether to continue playing.
Problem gambling can develop gradually, making it easy to miss the early signs. The following indicators — whether in yourself or someone you know — suggest that gambling may be causing harm and that taking a break or seeking support is the right next step.
Chasing losses. Continuing to gamble in an attempt to win back money already lost — often placing larger or riskier bets in the process.
Gambling beyond your means. Betting with money needed for rent, groceries, school fees or utility bills — or borrowing money specifically to gamble.
Hiding gambling activity. Concealing the amount of time or money spent gambling from family members, friends or colleagues.
Inability to stop. Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to reduce gambling frequency or the amounts being wagered.
Emotional distress linked to gambling. Feeling anxious, irritable, restless or depressed when not gambling, or immediately after a losing session.
Neglecting responsibilities. Missing work commitments, family obligations or personal wellbeing — from Karachi to Lahore — due to time or focus spent on gambling.
Escalating stakes. Needing to bet increasingly large amounts — from PKR 1,000 to PKR 10,000 or more — to experience the same level of excitement.
Answer the questions below honestly. This is not a clinical assessment — but if you answer "Yes" to two or more questions, we encourage you to consider taking a break and speaking with a support professional.
Have you ever bet more than you intended to in a single session?
Have you gambled to recover money you previously lost?
Have you felt the need to hide your gambling activity from someone close to you?
Has gambling affected your ability to pay bills or meet financial commitments?
Have you ever felt anxious, restless or irritable when not gambling?
One of the most effective safeguards against gambling harm is setting a clear, fixed budget before you start — and sticking to it regardless of outcome. A gambling budget is separate from your household spending and should represent only money you can genuinely afford to lose.
The illustrative example below uses PKR figures familiar to Pakistani users. Your actual budget will depend on your personal income and expenses.
Example based on a PKR 50,000 monthly take-home income. These proportions are illustrative only and should be adapted to your own financial situation.
The gambling share (PKR 2,000 in this example) represents the absolute maximum discretionary entertainment spend allocated to gambling — and should be treated as money already gone, not as a potential return. Set this as your Deposit Limit.
Self-exclusion is the most powerful responsible gambling tool available. Here's how to request it from a licensed Operator — the process typically takes less than 10 minutes.
Access your account on the betting or casino platform you want to self-exclude from. If you cannot log in due to forgotten credentials, use the account recovery option or contact the Operator's support team directly.
Look for a menu item labelled "Responsible Gambling", "Safer Gambling", "Player Protection" or "Account Limits". This is typically found in the main account or settings menu. If you can't locate it, contact the Operator's live chat support and ask them to guide you.
Choose the self-exclusion period that best fits your situation: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or permanent closure. For serious concerns, a longer period or permanent closure is recommended. You should not be able to shorten this period once it is set.
When self-excluding, also request the Operator to immediately cease all promotional emails, SMS messages and push notifications to your device. Under responsible gambling standards, Operators must honour this request. Check your email and phone settings to unsubscribe if messages continue.
Self-exclusion from a single platform is a strong first step, but it may not be sufficient if gambling harm is significant. Consider speaking with a qualified counsellor, therapist or mental health professional in your region. Support is available in both English and Urdu across Pakistan.
Online gambling is subject to significant legal restrictions in Pakistan under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 and other applicable provincial and federal statutes. 3rrr does not claim that online gambling is legal, licensed or government-approved in Pakistan. We do not hold a licence issued by the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority.
Content on the 3rrr platform is informational in nature. Users who choose to engage with online gambling platforms do so entirely at their own discretion and risk, and are solely responsible for determining whether such activity is lawful in their jurisdiction. Nothing in this Responsible Gambling page constitutes legal advice.
Additionally, payment references on this platform — including Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah — are mentioned as familiar Pakistani payment methods for contextual purposes only. Their mention does not imply that these institutions support, endorse or facilitate gambling transactions. Users must verify payment availability independently.
